How nice to feel so “at home” during my temporary work venture in the Tacoma area.
Coming from the Midwest, what more could I ask for than to wake up and see Mt Rainier framed by the large picture window in the living room! The house had everything I needed – full kitchen, laundry, 2 bedrooms, large living room, and dining area. So close to so many great attractions, restaurants, breweries, museums and best of all, phenomenal mountain hiking – Mt Rainier, the Olympic Peninsula, Mt St. Helens!! This house made my time away from family and home more comfortable.
Comfortable and convenient
Great location for business or pleasure. All the modern conveniences and toasty warm in every room of an old charming home. The walk to Washington State History Museum and Museum of Glass was easy. Returning from a day there, we felt the history of old Tacoma in the wood trim and real antique furnishings. The dining room table itself seemed to bring out conversation at mealtime. Highway 5 was easy to access. We will always stay here when we are in Tacoma. Private secure parking was a plus, but street parking was easy for in and out convenience.

Beautifully remodeled vacation unit was more than we asked for!
My daughter, my wife and I visited Tacoma Washington for Thanksgiving (2011) and we were more than satisfied with our stay in this beautifully remodeled 2 bedroom duplex. We were originally booked to stay at the Murano Hotel but realized that it would be a much nicer vacation if we had all of the creature comforts of home that you can’t find in a hotel (full kitchen with appliances and kitchenware, laundry, separate bedrooms, living room, dining room, etc.). We were made to feel right at home from the get-go with a batch of chocolate chip cookies, a bottle of wine, and all of the household necessities anyone could expect. I can’t say enough about how THIS rental convinced us to always seek a home rental first when planning a vacation.
